What this site is and is not
It is a personal project, not a company, a financial institution or an advisory firm. It is not registered with or supervised by any regulator, it does not arrange or broker financial products, it does not manage anyone's money, and it has no commercial relationship with banks or lenders. Accuracy of the information
The formulas used are standard and covered by automated tests, but a correct calculation on incomplete inputs still produces a figure that does not match your situation. Real terms for a loan or a savings product vary between institutions, countries and moments in time. Before making a decision, always confirm the figures with the relevant institution or a qualified professional.
What the calculations do not account for
Keep this in mind when reading any result. The calculators do not include arrangement, valuation, appraisal or early-repayment fees; tied insurance; taxes of any kind; state pensions or other income; nor changes in the interest rate over time, since they project using the rate you enter held constant. A twenty or thirty year projection is a scenario, not a prediction.
